Tras la detención en
Londres del ex dictador chileno Augusto Pinochet a instancias del
juez Baltasar Garzón, la Asociación Internacional de
Usuarios de Internet "Internautas por la Paz y la Libertad" pone en
marcha la campaña PINOCHET ENTRE REJAS de apoyo al proceso de
extradición del sangriento general para ser juzgado por su
presunta implicación en los delitos de genocidio, terrorismo
internacional, torturas y desaparición de
personas.
Todos los internautas que lo deseen pueden participar en dicha campaña, de la que se ruega su máxima difusión en la red, enviando su mensaje de apoyo a la dirección electrónica de Internautas por la Paz y la Libertad:
Todos los mensajes recibidos serán remitidos al Congreso de los Diputados, al Senado y al Gobierno español, así como, al juez Baltasar Garzón.
En la lucha por los derechos humanos y de persecución de los crímenes contra la humanidad, la comunidad internacional está pisando terreno nuevo, conquistando continuamente nuevos espacios que se arrebatan a la impunidad de la que han gozado tradicionalmente estos criminales, ante crímenes que, por su naturaleza, no prescriben. Esa impunidad no sólo es una afrenta a las víctimas, sino una instigación a que se repitan tales crímenes. Internautas por la Paz y la Libertad considera que es de justicia que un personaje como Pinochet, que sigue dando pruebas diarias de su absoluta falta de arrepentimiento, tenga que responder ante un tribunal, con plenas garantías, de todas las acusaciones que pesan contra él.
El juicio a Pinochet demostraría a todos los criminales habidos y por venir, que nunca podrán vivir tranquilos, que por mucho tiempo que pase siempre se verán perseguidos por una comunidad internacional que está decidida a penalizar esta clase de crímenes.

After the detention in London of the ex-Chilean dictator Augusto Pinochet at the request of Judge Baltasar Garzon, the International Association of Internet Users, Internauts for Peace and Liberty begins the campaign, PINOCHET BEHIND BARS, in support of the extradition of the bloody general, to be judged for his presumed implication in the crimes of genocide, international terrorism, torture, and the disappearance of citizens.
To all the Internauts who may wish to participate in this campaign, we beg for your maximum dissemination on the networks, sending your messages of support to the e-mail address of the Internauts for Peace and Liberty ~~aarias@arrakis.es~~ All messages received will be sent to the Spanish Parliament, the Senate, the Spanish government and thus to Judge Baltasar Garzon.
In the fight for human rights and persecution of crimes against humanity, the international community is treading on new territory, continually conquering new spaces, taking away the impunity which these criminals have traditionally enjoyed in the face of crimes, which, by their nature, are intolerable. This impunity is not only an affront to the victims, but allows for the repetition of these crimes. Internauts for
Peace and Liberty considers that it is only fair that someone like Pinochet, who continually fails to show the slightest bit of remorse, must respond before a tribunal, with full assurances that all the accusations will be weighed against him. Justice for Pinochet would demonstrate to all criminals, now and in the future, that they will never live peacefully; that for as much time as may be necessary, they will continually be pursued by an international community which is determined to penalize this class of crimes.
