Introduction
This program makes a specific number of slices from a given supercell along the Z axis. The atomless slices from top and botton of the original supercell are eliminated.

System requirement
Rodajas is offered as a executable file for MS-DOS and SG.

Input files
Rodajas needs a supercell file with the extention .cel with the format used by EMS program.

Output files
Rodajas generates 4 series of files which are numerated according the number of slices considered. The 4 series are:

• *.cel files (with EMS format to be used by EMS program)
• *.cif files  (with CIF format to be used by VICS-II software)
• *.dat files (to be used by TEMSIM Software from Kirkland)
• *.txt files (to be used by the new JEMS package).
  

Installation steps

(1) Download rodajas.zip (for MSDOS) or rodajas.x (for SG workstation) file into the directory were the supercell is stored.

(2) Run rodajas
