El lenguaje como técnica activa
López Rodríguez, José María

This piece of work aims to serve as a guide to language teachers. For this reason the contents very specific, based on an active and creative language used as a means of social communication.

In order to achieve this objective, I have examined: a) Free texts (chosen by the pupils). b) Recommended tests (chosen by the teacher to compelemnt those of the pupils). c) Visual texts and pictures (which help to developt the pupils' imagination). d) Media (press, television...), which play an important role in this study given their great value and power of transmission.

Escuela y selección social: ¿reproducción o cambio?
Jiménez Gámez, Rafael

The aim of this article is to review in brief the most representative bibliography of recent years within the now traditional framework in Sociology of Education: scholl as an instrument of selection or equality in society. We believe it is of interest to bring together existing opinions on this ever controversial issue, about which the author cannot remain neutral, given that in present-day society the problems of primary education are still considered from exclusively individualistic points of view and it is forgotten thar Durkheim, more than a century ago now, considered education as a transmitter and controller of the established social order.

Lozano Alcobendas, Teresa

An historical review of the psychology of education reveals the epistemological confusion which surrounds this science. This study is an attempt to shed new light on the subject or, perhaps, simply to plead the need for clarification in this field so as to allow psychology to play a part in the realm of education.

Historia del Arte: ciencia y metodología
Antón Solé, Pablo

As a starting point the History of Art is validly defined as a science within the group of Human or Social Sciences and with the same right as the History of Literature or the History of Economics, etc. The object of the History of Art is determined as artificial, artistic and authentic. Aesthetic evaluation and historical evaluation are established as objectives. After a brief examination of the methodologies, the conclusion is reached that no single methodology can convey the totality of the work of art, therefore they must all form part of a plan of guidelines, proposed by J. Fernández Arenas.

Proyecto de carácter curricular
Alarcón Durán, José Miguel; Jiménez Gámez, Rafael

The confusion caused in this country by changes in curriculum, led us to undertake this brief study in order that it might serve simply to offer a possible course of action in drawing up the pedagogic-didactic plan required in the competitive exams for teachers of E.G.B. As you will see, it was not our intention to carry out an exhaustive temporal and thematic study. Any recommendation or criticism will be welcomed by the authors.

Sánchez Alarcón, Antonio

This article seeks to highlight the trascendence of plastic-expression as a subject in which scientific factors (the learning of perspective, vision of space, colour, etc.) and factors of free expression and personal creativity come into play. This encourages the pupil's responsive ability in any subject.
