| Revisión del patrón juvenil de consumo de alcohol: Propuestas educativas de prevencion desde la Psicología de la Salud |
Guil Bozal, Mª del Rocío This article reviews alcohol use among youngsters. It also refers to other interesting variables such as age of the first consumption, motivation, types of beverages, time of drinking, etc, etc... and possible implications and consequences implied by this type of behaviour. And finally, it describes proposals to mitigate the possible consequences from the point of view of Health Education.

Avila Carretero, Isabel To show the need to adapt the system of communication, offered from school environment, to the characteristics and needs of the deaf children and their families, is the "laife motiv" of this paper. Our study offers the results of a survey taken in different specific centres for deaf in our autonomous region about the use of different system of alternative communication and, specially, about the role that sign language represents amongst them.

Delgado Fernández, Ascensión This article is about the first girls who took examination in the Secondary School of Cádiz. In the last third of the 19th century and the first decade of the 20th, only few girls reached this level of studies; in Cádiz only forty-five in a period of thirty-eight years. In this way an extremely rooted tradition upon women's education was broken.

Díez Martínez, Marcelino In studies of vocal technique, the human voice is analysed only when it refers to adults, but there has been very little research as far as child's voice is concerned. Knowledge of the infant voice is of essential importance to the specialist teacher of Music. 7-14 year old children's vocal extension and range have been analysed in this paper. This study is baed on objective data taken from our environment.

Alcalde Cuevas, Concepción The education of mental handicapped students has passed through different historical stages. From the segregated and isolating treatment during some earlier historical period of time, or a strong charity procedure, to a more comprehensive and instructional management actually implemented. So, from the chronological point of view, the social assumption of physically and mentally handicapped population is presented. And an educational and stream approaches to the special education is discussed.

Two cases are presented: a teachers pre-service education descriptive study, and a teachers in-service education interpretative one. Difficulties met are made explicit and commented after having been described.

Vázquez Recio, Rosa María This article intends to throw light on the present state of Teachers Pre-service Education, analysing the determinant factors which make it one of the most emblematic and controversial points in educative reforms: a strong interventionism and ideologic control from the Administration, a technological curricular policy which has been passed on to us by work and knowledge specialization and fragmentation in order to achieve maximum effectiveness and efficiency, and the return of proffesionalism as the best way for the reform to succeed. The analysis of these factors are carried out in the Curriculum of Primary Teachers Pre-service Education at the University of Cádiz.
